Mitch Huyck

The Space Between Land and Water
For fine art photographer Mitch Huyck, art lives where dramatic landscapes transition—from the rugged alpine heights of his native Colorado to the fluid depths of the Gulf Coast and open ocean. Based in Sarasota, Florida, Mitch explores the thin boundary between air and water, capturing immersive perspectives few ever witness firsthand.
Specializing in coastal seascapes and technical underwater photography, Mitch operates in demanding open-water marine environments using specialized deep-water camera housings and natural ambient light. His underwater imagery earned top national honors for Best Traditional Wide Angle at the Digital Shootout competition, alongside features in regional fine art publications.

Gallery-Grade Presentation
Every release pairs field precision with master lab execution across our specialized display mediums:
Fine Art Aluminum Metal: Dyes infused directly into coated aluminum sheets yield radiant luminescence, vibrant saturation, and a sleek, frameless float presentation.
Contemporary Acrylic Metal (4-Post Standoff): A 1/4″ optical acrylic face mounted over an archival metal print, secured with four architectural stainless steel standoff posts for striking edge refraction and dimensional depth.
Conservation Matted Exhibition Prints: Open edition releases printed on luminescent Fuji Pearl paper and finished with four-ply acid-free conservation bevel matting and backing boards, sized to standard dimensions for immediate framing.

Collector’s Reserve vs. Studio Collection:
Limited edition masterworks are capped at 50, personally inspected and signed in our studio, and include complimentary continental U.S. shipping. Studio Collection metal and acrylic face-mount pieces are also capped at 50 worldwide; paper prints are capped at 200; both are fulfilled directly through Bay Photo with standard shipping, while conservation-matted editions are available exclusively at our physical exhibition booths.
